Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon;
The little dog laughed
To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.

Kerstin Linder-Dewan takes us on a journey tracing the hypothetical travels of her baroque violin – an instrument made in London around 1750.

Along the way she explores the music of South American composer Anton Zipoli, music by Bach’s beloved elder brother JJ Bach, Czech composer František Benda and 18th-century Portuguese violinist-composer Pedro Lopes Nogueira, amongst others.

This concert takes place in the tiny, tucked away church in Lower Catesby.
