Brahms Clarinet Quintet with Colin Lawson Brahms’
Brahms Clarinet Quintet with Colin Lawson
Brahms’ sublimely nostalgic clarinet quintet opens our 2027 season. This much loved work was written in 1891 in the spa town of Bad Ischi in Upper Austria and quickly became popular with audiences.
Distinguished clarinettist Colin Lawson joins Fiori to perform this wonderful music. We also celebrate the centenary of another Austrian composer – Robert Fuchs – with his delightful clarinet quintet in E flat.
