We have so much lovely music to look forward to this season:
There’s Allegri’s famous Miserere in Cranford St John on Good Friday, then mesmeric and inspired works by Biber, based on the Rosary at Edgcote in May. We celebrate Palestrina’s 500th at Wolfhampcote in June with uplifting choral music. We’re also honoured to have been invited once again by Music in Country Churches, this time to perform with trumpeter royal David Blackadder in a beautiful church near Ipswich.
July sees us at Coton Manor by kind invitation of Susie and Ian Pasley-Tyler for a splendid alfresco concert and then back at Castle Ashby for a feast of baroque concertos. August finds us at Fotheringhay for Haydn’s impressive Theresienmesse. And the season concludes with Fireworks music in All Saints’ Northampton in September to mark the great fire of Northampton 350 years ago. Full details will be posted here.
Beautiful music in beautiful places near you!
